Looking & Learning

This week's field trip was to a "Looking & Learning" conversation at NCC--a "show and tell" where ceramic artists present objects that influence and inspire them. Bob Briscoe and Ernest Miller gathered up some their personal treasures and brought them to Northern Clay for the sixth event in the series. The objects they brought were visually very different, but as each artist spoke, there was a commonality to many of their selections. The two artist have a very different presence and voice, but they fell into an engaging call and response rhythm, resulting in a lively conversation with each other and the audience.
