We drove down to Northfield early this morning for a demonstration at St. Olaf College. Josh was a visiting artist this week at St. Olaf and Carleton Colleges. While throwing a whisky set and tray, Josh talked about growing up around ceramic greats like Peter Voulkos, David Shaner, and Rudy Autio. It was perfect timing since we had a lecture on Voulkos and the Otis Group a few days earlier. Josh will finish up the week with a wood firing at Carleton.
