Joan Bruneau, a lovely potter based in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, visited Northern Clay Center this past week. The NICE students spent the day with Joan watching her demonstrate her approach to cut and altered forms. As she worked, Joan discussed setting up a storefront in her town, the challenges of pricing, the continued development of her work, and sustaining a career as a potter.
